People often ask me:

Paul, I'm so bored of the dozens of cookie-cutter VC blogs out there. Can you do something a bit different?

My job, as a VC, is to take great ideas, put great teams around them, and help build great companies. The best entrepreneurs are the ones who absorb all of that help, extract the best advice, and act on it.

In many ways, this blog is my latest entrepreneurial venture. I am always trying to make it better, and I wanted it to be different. Thankfully, the CEO of one of my portfolio companies was a pro blogger. After absorbing a lot of great advice from him, I have decided to re-invent my blog project.
